Scientists map alternative dwarfing genes in wheat that can eliminate problem of stubble burning

Scientists at Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), Pune - an autonomous institution under science ministry - have mapped two alternative dwarfing genes in wheat that can eliminate rice crop residue burning - one of the major sources of air pollution in Delhi-NCR and other parts of north India during early winter.
